My anniversary is the day before Valentines Day and I thought I’d take my wife out to a great local resturant her in Elk Grove, CA. I’ve had a few lunches there but till this past February 13th I’d never had the pleasure of dinning for dinner. The Brickhouse is a local Restaurant w/ a full bar owned by the Cassella brothers who not only reside in Elk Grove but have opened this fantastic business in the Old Town corridor of Elk Grove. They both are involved in the day to day dealings of running this successful local establishment and you can always find Papa Geno and his lovely wife there greeting all visitors.
Seated in a quite area with my wife, daughter and her boyfriend we enjoyed some drinks before dinner. I wasn’t sure what type of wine I wanted but a patron at the bar who new about wines offered me some suggestions. After enjoying our drinks we each ordered dinner which included a large bowl of endless salad and soup for us all.
Why I ordered dinner I’ll never know. The Minestrone Soup we ordered was home made and out of this world. I had bowl after bowl after bowl and was too full for all my steak which was cooked exactly like I asked. Next time I go for Lunch I think I’ll just order the Minestrone Soup. Now, I know Franco Cassella and his wonderful wife Amy so I did ask for the recipe. But just as I thought they said “sorry we can’t tell you that”. I think some things are just better kept to family secrets.
If you ever have a chance to visit the Brickhouse in Elk Grove, CA make sure to say hello to the Cassella Brothers and make sure to have the Minestrone. Bon Appetite
They’re address is 9027 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Blvd. (916)714-8040
We’re all facing tough times. The reality is, you or someone you know may be conffronted with true hardships that make the future seem uncertain. But don’t let the possiblility of foreclosure be a means for panic. There are better paths….and as an Advanced CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert), I can help you find the best path for you or your family. Now is the time to learn your options. Feel free to contact me with your questions about first steps. Just 4 days ago I met with a client who had a Trustee Sale notice slapped on her home which was to take place on the court house steps in Sacramento on Feb. 9th, 2010. I met with her on Thursday Jan. 14 and I gave her some suggestions on how to work with her lender and what to tell them. Friday Jan 15th her lender had stopped the Foreclosure Sale and modified her payment from $2500/mo to $1300/mo. If not for my suggestions my disabled client would have been out in the street. In a problematic economy such as we’re in where most are losing money in the stock market, 401k’s, CD’s, money market acct’s or interest bearing checking accounts, there is a sure fire way to build wealth. What would you be able to do if you were completely debt free? Would you be able to vacation more, pay for your childs college education, pay for your childs wedding, enjoy your grand children while putting aside for their future, buy some positive cash flow investment property or just comfortably enjoy retirement? After 18 yrs as a loan consultant I never thought I would be telling my clients to never refinance again. It’s just a waste of money. If you think you never paid fees when refinancing then you don’t really know the backside of the loan business. What if you could pay off all your debts and/or mortgage in 1/2 to 1/3 the time with little or no change to your current lifestyle. I have one thing to say, “RefiNoMore”. No bouble payments, No extra payment, No refinanicing, No special account needed. Check out the link at www.RefiNoMore.com
